The GummyWax is a new material for translucent candles born in Furano, Hokkaido.
It has a high level of transparency, just like glass or ice, and it can maintain its own shape when lit, so that it can also be used
for free standing candles, allowing greater freedom of expression for the creator.
Enjoy quiet conversations with a flickering flame and a sense of fulfillment from treasuring peaceful moments.
We hope to open up a new world for lighting, together with all the lighting creators.

uno, Inc. was established in March of 2007 as a candle manufacturer
in Shimizuyama, Furano City.
Based in Furano, Hokkaido, we are a manufacturer of original candles that convey a unique sense of
“Furano-style” manufacturing and incorporate the seasonal colors and plant scents into the
flickering flame.
The workshop that produces the candles is called “Furano Candle Ships.”
After performing the original research and development for the GummyWax®, our company began
mass production and sales in 2014 and we are now striving to open a new candle market.
The creative source for our craftsmanship is the sense of awe and simplicity when one is
in the nature of Furano.
We work under the concept of “health, environment, and heart.”
